The problem being is in the early stages of embryo, the definition of life become a matter of opinion. Sure, there may be a heart beat, but that alone doesn't equal life.
One can't even identify said fetus as human until the late months of pregnancy. This has been proven countless times.
If you were to use religion as an excuse, the bible even states life begins at first breath.

If one were to argue it's a person, then why isn't one able to take life insurance on the fetus? Why not give it a SSN at conception? Why can't it be counted as a dependent on taxes? There was even a recent case where a fetus is not to be considered a person in a carpool lane.

Finally, desite all this, the real issue with RvW is women nearly lost the freedom to choose. THAT'S the problem. They wouldn't be allowed to choose. You can choose to donate parts of your body after death. But she can't choose to abort a 2 week embryo. You can choose to remove a cyst. But she can't choose to undo an unforseen mistake. Or worse, something that was forced upon her against her will.

Did you hear about the 10yo girl in Ohio? She was r_ped and impregnated as a result. Unlikely, but possible. The state of Ohio wouldn't allow her to abort. I challenge anyone to justify this.

In some cultures, such as the biami tribe of Papua New Guinea, babies aren't even giving a name at birth. Some aren't given a name until age 6. Does this mean they're not a living being?

The heartbeat as well as electrical brain activity can be detected in the fetus as early as 6 weeks. These babies are able to feel pain ... these babies are even able to feel emotions. There's no point in discussing this with you because you are a devil. There's no justifying killing an innocent baby. A life, even most scientists agree it is alive.

@RocktheHouse If you're going to bring foreign policy into this, I've got entire contenents who agree abortions should not be banned or controlled by the govt. I've also got some historically evil nations(USSR & Nazi Germany to start) that agree 100% that women should not have a choice in anything. Especially conception and birth.

The argument to begin with is if an embryo can/should be identified as alive and/or a person in its own right and if abortion equates to murder. To use "murder is wrong" isn't an argument but an independant and unrelated statement.

Finally, you haven't actually made any valid arguments against me and somehow I'm the one with whom this can't be discussed? Sounds like you're a pigeon playing chess.

As I said before, there was no context. Nothing about this video can be related to that nonsense you spewed.
Next, how the fuck would yanking with tongs pull anything apart? Especially if the fetus is still inside the woman? They'd be shredding her up like a 90s horror classic.
Finally, if or when a fetus gets this far along, any kind of abortion is rare and only performed if and when the mother's life is in jeopardy. In which case, they try several dozens of other methods to save both mother and child. If that proves impossible, they resort to surgical removal.

I don't know where you get your sources but i really, really hope you actually look up the procedures of abortion for every stage before trying to force such unnecessary and untrue images into people's heads. Seriously, holy fuck. I can't think of any professional procedure that barbaric has ever been performed in at least 300 years.
