I Am Sick of People Saying Abortion Is Murder

if they don't think the new world order in general is murder.

I am also sick of people acting like even more unwanted children belong here than we already have now.

Less abortion equals MORE UNWANTED CHILDREN. Take it out on the kids???

Hypocrisy check time.

I'm tired of people using Abortion as birth control, it's super gross and shows a lack of resposibility.
DestroyerOfIdeologies · 22-25, M
@Whiterosesociety I know it's a serious question, but people do use humor to argue, and show the absurdity of other people's argument. Thanks for having the courage to disagree with me though.

@DestroyerOfIdeologies every sperm
is the butt of too many Robin Williams jokes for me to get back on the couch and keep watching 😂

I understand what you are saying. I am personally against abortion but sometimes it is a necessity for whatever reason. My wife and I buried 2 babies lost at the 6 month mark. My wife hemorrhaged severely and the doctor present me with the option of taking the baby or wife bleeding to death. I signed the papers to take the baby and on the death certificate is says the cause of death was aborted. In Texas because the baby weighed over 4 pounds we had a funeral. That was over 40 years ago but has never left my thoughts. The discussion heard today isn't so much about abortion itself as much as WHEN. If a doctor is delivering a 9 month fully developed baby and slits its throat because the mother doesn't want it, then yes that is murder.
@lasergraph People should get a strict license to have sex. That would do it.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I just want to ask one thing. If you saw the heart beating would you still do it?
Livingwell · 61-69, M
@Keepitsimple You make a good point. I don’t believe in it personally. I had two unplanned children. I couldn’t afford it but found a way to make it work. I wouldn’t give them up for anything. They are my world. That said, I don’t feel that I should impose my value system on someone else. Only they know their situation. Only they can make the choice. I just hope they put as much effort and thought into making it work as I did.
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
@Livingwell I know that either decision is not easy. I got pregnant unplanned also. The choice I made was the best decision for me. Keep it wrapped or get on birth control if you don’t want kids is all I’m saying.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
@Keepitsimple Agreed.
As someone who is pro life, I'll provide my $0.02.

As much as I detest the idea, abortion should remain legal and safe. Making it illegal simply drives people perusing the same objective unsafely. Debating over whether abortion is or isn't murder never gets us anywhere.

I think there are valid reasons for abortion. Pregnancies due to rape or incest. Pregnancies putting the mother's life at risk. Situations in which the baby won't survive.

But let's also talk about the elephant in the room. Most abortions occur to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. And the vast majority of unwanted pregnancies occur because no birth control was used, or the birth control wasn't used properly.

Human behavior is predictable.
People will have sex. Hell, I think people should have all kinds of sex. Including the sorts that don't lead to pregnancy. I firmly believe the number of abortions could be reduced greatly if people were a little more responsible with birth control. Lots of birth control options out there. Availability is not an issue. Condoms are free at many clinics.
I'd get behind making the morning after pill free if it would prevent having to rip the fetus apart, limb by limb, weeks later.

It would require little to no change to any existing laws. Just people changing their behavior. It won't eliminate abortions, but it could cut down on them dramatically.
@BizSuitStacy also read what I said to lasergraph

I say our approach to marriage children and personal responsibility comes from what society in general does to us when we are younger. If it encourages brutality and callousness and "me-only" the children will not be valued and the women will be progressively disempowered so that MORE unwanted children will be born...

That is pretty much the way it is now, and lots of impotent talk about birth control and enraged hysteria about whose children are MORE wanted.
Livingwell · 61-69, M
I think both sides miss the point. Some say it’s a matter of controlling their body. Some say it’s against God’s will. No one thinks about the costs of bringing up a child or their well being.

It’s basically a issue of social ethics. It makes complete sense in cases where a woman’s life is in danger, the fetus is horribly compromised, or for rape. At the same time is is NOT birth control! Being careless is no excuse and making it financially painful in such cases may make people think twice and be more responsible. As for unwanted children there are many people that would love a child that can’t have their own. Changing the process from being a business to a social solution would help find those kids a good home. Charging 100k to adopt is just as bad as abortion.
DestroyerOfIdeologies · 22-25, M
@Livingwell And how do you think the issue of high abuse in adopted children can be handled?
@DestroyerOfIdeologies Its a very abusive society, firstly I will tell u I'm no fool with these issues and I don't ask patronizing questions ever when it comes to child abuse

obviously is is low on society's bucket list that is why the crisis doesn't get approached, it gets kicked around badly
Livingwell · 61-69, M
@Whiterosesociety Thank you. Being a victim to abuse I understand first hand. However to state the issue of abuse is widespread as this person has is also unfounded. MOST parents are good loving parents. Fathers are more involved than ever. But the cases that are active are not being handled properly by child services. The system is stretched thin but we complain when taxes increase. “Social justice” now takes a parents power to discipline children away. Punishing a child can land one in jail. And teachers are now expected to teach our kids right and wrong. How’s that working? “Social justice” must stop. Give parents their power back. And tell all of these “experts” to go away. They only created entitled kids.
So if someone is not happy, it's only kind to shoot them?
@DestroyerOfIdeologies your one second of fame?
@Mamapolo2016 No but you can shoot me. Problem solved lady moron
@Whiterosesociety 😁 True colors do shine through, don't they now?
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
So...Abortion isn't taking it out on the kids?
@Virgo79 its called

bitter wit. its bitter cause kids will learn about the cruel sexual politics of out time

and get hurt from the knowing, that's what makes it witty. they will learn how to behave so THEY never get hurt...at least they would if they were MY kids.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@Whiterosesociety
Maybe it's not such a bad idea in you're case🤷‍♂️
@Virgo79 oh I should get in a time machine and get my mom to kill me while I put up with your imbecilic spelling.

HUH????

go block yourself I can't be bothered
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
Here's a thought, use birth control or keep your legs closed... 🤔
@wildbill83 excuse me but I wouldn't be your partner to begin with..obviously.

So how about U do the same for the little lady in YOUR life?
wildbill83 · 36-40, M

I don't date women with less than triple digit IQ's...

Abortion is terrible, especially when the babies already have limbs. But to each their own I guess.
