I Believe Abortion Is Murder

Abortion is most definitely murder. And life begins even at conception. An unborn baby inside the tummy of a female is a life that God created that has a purpose later in life, not some disposable trash to be gotten rid of.

Lots of people nowadays, since God knows when, have actually given up their children for adoption or even given them to a relative of theirs to take care of the child. Abortion, also, is nothing to be proud of, either, and should be rather a disappointment, not to mention even a disapproval.

If a teenager becomes pregnant, especially at an unexpected time or whatever, she should have the choice of either having help and support in bringing the child up, even when she is finishing school or so, or to give the child up for adoption if things get complicated at the time. Whatever the choice of either may be, the idea of an abortion is wrong and immoral, because the life that is conceived should have a purpose later in life as God would tend for it, because God did create life. Like they say sometimes, "Adoption is an option."

Again, life begins at conception, and abortion is murder.

Your opinion. And of course you are entitled to it . But here's a question . If your wife/partner was raped and became pregnant by the rapist, what would you expect from her ? You have already said abortion is murder . So, if your wife/partner then wanted to keep the baby , because after all abortion is murder. How would you feel ?
She may not after carrying the child for 9 months want to give the baby up for adoption.
Would you willingly bring that baby up.
I ask this question because my ex husband used to have the same opinion as you.
He could not answer my question. But then he was very possessive of me. He also thought that women who were raped secretly wanted to have sex with the perpertrator otherwise their body would not have "let" them in. I beleive he was talking about vaginismus. But then he was an arsehole .

@Fannyann We would raise the baby as ours.

@TheProphet That is what you say now when it is only a thought .The reality can be frighteningly different.
Idealism is just that. The real world as you will find as you grow older is not as easy.

@Fannyann I'm the same age as you are and well versed in the ways of the world.
My beliefs and values are well set and raising that baby wouldn't create any problems.

[@TheProphet. I was actually aiming that question at SamHarris the original author of the question. You being older may think differently but unfortunately I doubt it.
