I Am Against Abortion

Reading though some of these posts shows how inconsiderate some of you are to mothers who have to go though abortion.

Why shouldn't a mother choose if she doesn't want to abort her child? Would you rather drug addict baby be brought into a world were the moment from they come out of the womb, they're dependent on drugs? Would you rather kill a mother in progress just so that baby being born, leaving it with no mum to nurture it.

If you're a Christian and judging these mothers on what they're doing, aren't you're sinning yourself? Didn't Jesus how we shouldn't stop and judge others? I don't think you realise the traumatic experiences mothers go though just to have this done, they not just like "going to have an abortion lol" it's such a long process. Personally before you judge again, think about what the mother is going though

We do not judge the mothers. Mothers are victims of abortion as well as the children aborted. Our position is that murder is wrong period and every child in the womb has a right to live. Abortion is murder and murder shouldn't be a choice.

So you're saying a mother's life is nothing compared to a fetus is the mother has a chance of dying?
DarkandDesolate
Why would any mother not want to give her life for her child?
sadpastels · 26-30, F
You'd rather a child to grow up drug dependant and in poverty than go to heaven ?
DarkandDesolate
I don't believe aborted children go to heaven. And you don't know if the child would end up having a happy and successful adult life
sadpastels · 26-30, F
That's untrue, that baby will have to rely on morphine for the rest of it's life. You're the evil one in bringing an innocent fetus to a cruel world where they won't be able to fend for itself.
DarkandDesolate
Also, we shouldn't be basing a life and death decision off of whether the child will grow up to have a happy life. The initial question here is one of justice and the right to life of every individual

How is it moral in anyway to let a child suffer in pain with illness?
sadpastels · 26-30, F
Tell me what is the point to life if you dependant on drugs due to your mother fault ? I'd rather see a child not suffer to be honest because I care about feelings.

It's possible to get HIV though sex because apparently Christians can't use condoms right? I don't believe that mothers should just "kill" their baby, I just saying they have a choice. May I ask, do you have a disability yourself?
DarkandDesolate
It doesn't matter how good or bad life's prospects are. Every person has a right to life. Abortion infringes on that right.
Ginkofishin
No. I would not give up my life to a child born into a world where nobody would want it.
Ginkofishin
You act like people have only been having sex since the 2000s. Grow up.
Ginkofishin
Of course the child should have the right to be sexually abused because you're opinion HAD to be law. :D
Ginkofishin
The whole argument of abortion is life. If you cannot talk about the situations children are born in then you have nothing to contribute.
Ginkofishin
FETUSES ARE NOT PEOPLE. We are people. We breathe, have memories, feelings, thoughts, and personalities. We work, sleep, eat, socialize, breed, walk, drive, talk, love, and learn. Tell me how a fetus has done all of this and is considered a person to the government when they clearly state abortion is NOT illegal.
Ginkofishin
Fetuses do not have developed brains until 20 weeks. Did you bother to learn the science behind it? The fetus cannot feel ANYTHING until the receptors and nerves all hook up to the brain, let alone does the fetus understand anything complicated such as love. Ugh.
DarkandDesolate
We are people and once upon a time we were fetuses. Were we not people then? How can you be sure that a fetus isn't human? It is composed of human cells and contains human DNA.
Ginkofishin
What is a person? Most would say a contributing member of society, not a bunch of cells. Its a fetus, and even though it is human, it is not a person.
DarkandDesolate
So is a baby not a person? Is a two year old not a person? It isn't exactly a contributing member of society so is it okay to kill a two year old?
Ginkofishin
It is contributing. The child us carrying on genes and securing the next generation. A fetus is nothing but parasitic to its host. A woman has every right to decide whether or not a fetus in her body should come into HER WORLD, not yours. Not everyone has sunshine and flowers growing out of every aspect of their lives. And you don't seem to understand that. If I ever abort, I would do it for the sake of my potential child, not because I don't want a baby lol. And yet I get called a selfish murderer for wanting a better life for my child. But since you are so reliant on your false claims of life as we know it, you refuse to see the woman and instead see an incubator for a baby where in your world would grow up fine. I get that you live a great middle class life with your iPhone and your Starbucks and all your happy friends in high school, but in the real world outside of your parents house, people are abused, neglected, cheated, scammed, and beaten down until they are nothing. I don't expect you to have any sort of insight in how the real world works, and until you do, you never will understand what a mother goes through. Not everyone lives out of their parents house in blissful ignorance. I make maybe 300 dollars a week with crippling depression, 7000 in school debt, and am constantly living in my childhood trauma every day in my parents house. If I got pregnant my mother, being a young mom herself, would disown me and kick me out. My loving grandmother would shun me and my boyfriend would leave me. my medical insurance rates are about 250 per visit, so prenatal care would be out of the question. I would have nowhere to go with a shitty job and be pregnant through it all. If you think my baby deserves to live through poverty with a heavily depressed mother and no father, then please, go ahead and tell me I am selfish.
DarkandDesolate
No, I'm not blaming you for anything. But I believe any baby of yours has a right to life, and there are crisis pregnancy centers that will help pregnant women pay for prenatal care and help them take care of their children. I am sorry that your life has been hard for you. But would you rather have had your mother abort you? Aren't you now glad that the decision to live or die is in your own hands and wasn't made by someone else?
DarkandDesolate
Also, a fetus is carrying on genes just as any newborn baby is carrying genes. A newborn is still parasitic to the people who have to take care of it. It can't do anything for itself and is just living off what others do for it. It is contributing just as much as a fetus contributes.
Ginkofishin
Crisis pregnancy centers do not help with pregnancies. They influence women to not get an abortion. I would only be able to pick up supplies maybe once or twice. That is not a life time and they do not help pay for prenatal care.
I would want my mother to make the right decision for herself and me, and if she had aborted me, so be it. I wouldn't be conscious of it anyway. But I'm glad you are not above personal attacks.
DarkandDesolate
Crisis pregnancy centers do what they can to refer women to affordable services and help them through pregnancy. They want to show women that it isn't impossible for them to keep their child. I see abortion more as an issue of justice and the right to life of every individual. Abortion doesn't allow the individual whose life is taken to have any say in the matter. I don't judge any women who have abortions because they often feel there is no other option because of the circumstances they are in. Many women experience lifelong regret resulting from having an abortion, so they too are victims of abortion.
Ginkofishin
Because people like you call them selfish murderers. That's why women regret.
