Hike the Appalachian trail.

@Sourdad I had that on my list for decades then I had to sit down in a wheelchair so I scratched it out . You're young...you won't do it?

@Fernie Finding the time is the problem. Maybe in a few years when my son is older I can do some sections.

@Sourdad I lived in Georgia in the early 80's and thought I was going to do the whole 80 miles of the trail starting at Springer Mountain....the terrain was rough and very up and down...the weather was very hot (spring is best)...I did 3 miles, sat down for 3 hours and went back home. I'm sure you'll plan better. If you are a reader at all and haven't yet...read " A walk in the woods" by Bill Bryson...it is hilarious. It was made in to a movie a couple years ago but it is nothing like the book.Amazon will let you read a bit of it.

@Fernie I read that some time ago. I've read other books by people that hiked the trail. I've always wanted to start in Maine, and work my way south. I went to school in Carrollton in the late 80's It was nice.

@Sourdad I forget that book has been around a while. Carrolton...I spent a year there one night. I live in Massachusetts so I too would love to do NH or Maine. I hope you take the time to do this. I think it's spiritual and good for the soul
