Do you give money to Beggars

yes but I don't call them beggars ,or bums anymore
I know some very successful people who have ended up homeless and down on their luck ,I was one of them
Many Vets live in homeless camps for one reason or another ,its sad ,they served their country as did I ,and here they are living like a bum ,,
I sing a song that says
I'm the cripple on the corner
You pass me on the street
I wouldn't be out here beggin'
If I had enough to eat
And don't think that I don't notice
That our eyes never meet.

I lost my wife and little boy

I sing it often and what if she's an angel
you never know why they are there ,
some actually prefer to live in camps and pan handle ,no job ,no responsibilities
but some are like the song ,
I am not in a position to judge
if I can help ,I do
when I was there ,it was strangers who helped me start over
I will be forever grateful ,I had not clue how I was going to pull out of it
but they seen I was worth saving ,I praise God they did
