Should I Go?

There has been a music festival going all day. I can hear the music. I didn't want to go as these events make me feel lonely as I always go on my own, and I'm surrounded by couples, families, and groups of friends.

As the day is drawing to a close, I'm trying to decide whether to go or not. It's only a 7-minute bicycle ride, and the music sounds good. Only 2.5 hours left before the finish. It's in a beautiful setting too.

Should I go for the experience, or will it make me feel worse? Maybe I should go despite how it makes me feel. It was only today that I said to myself, "life is for having experiences."

Go for the music... Instead of looking around at others focus on the performance in front of you.. Feel your own smile.. Feel how the music takes you away.. Enjoy the breeze.. Enjoy any drinks you may bring or get while you're there... You'll cherish the memory some day..

Go enjoy the music. I go to events by myself and yes it stinks sometimes being by myself but music trumps loneliness in my mind anyway.
