We have one intersection I had to cross every day to get home from school. Nobody ever used their blinkers. Since it was an intersection between two major streets and a minor street, and I crossed the minor one, almost everybody turned left and not many people went straight, so nobody used their blinkers. I had no idea when to cross, and almost got hit a few times assuming they'd turn left. One time, I almost got hit by my dad.

@madbroom: And then they get mad at YOU! Thank goodness you never got hit! Hopefully, your dad changed his ways.
madbroom · 22-25, T
@giggles143: It was pretty recently, and it was mostly my fault because I was technically jaywalking.

@giggles143: Exactly! And hopefully his dad will change his ways better than he can change lanes! XD

Tbfh. If I am familiar with the street I am more likely to forget to turn on my blinker.
giggles143 · 26-30, F
@badazzbasicbich: Yes, if there's no one behind me, the flow of traffic is going, it's not a problem. But when there's a lot of traffic and lanes are full, blinkers can help things flow a lot smoother, and is a lot safer.

@giggles143: yep

@giggles143: You're quite right, as blinkers are literally a lifesaver.
When people stare all inside your car like they know you or something

@chilldyl: those. Weird ghetto crackheads

When they tail you for going the speed-limit (as if that's going to make you drive faster).
Cut out right in front of you -- to where they nearly get hit (like they're so impatient and can't wait another ten seconds until you pass).

Some really old people that still drive, they're as dangerous young teens on the road they don't mean harm but those reflexes aren't as sharp as they once were.
giggles143 · 26-30, F
@GBPackersFan: My friend sells cars. He said some of the old people who come in looking for a car are soooo dangerous. He actually had to call this man's son to tell him I don't think your dad should be driving.
diablo · 51-55, M
@giggles143: I can only imagine how badly some of them drive... especially those who you can't even see above the wheel when they're driving! 😂😂😂😂
Sourdad · 56-60, M
I know. I hate it too. I was a cab driver for a lot of years. I yelled at people all the time. I'm happier now that I don't do that job. I still think silent death rays at people who don't know how to use the blinker.

@dreamingofoz: Exactly what I just wrote to someone!!!
@giggles143: XD XD XD

@Fishing65: Or they cut in front of you or turn right in front of you and then they drive so slow so you have to brake. I don't get it.
diablo · 51-55, M
@giggles143: Ugggh! That always gets me! lol
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
Or they park next to your car and are so close, you can't open your door to get inside
giggles143 · 26-30, F
@ronisme1: People who park over the line and don't fix their car! Okay, you better stop. You're making my blood pressure go up!!! Haha...and I must sound like a bitch with all this complaining!
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
Im the one complaining, you are allowing us all to get our frustrations out. Thanks for a great question. If that is being a bitch, bring more of it on
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
People who cut you off at 65 mph and then slow down to 30 mph once they are in front of you
giggles143 · 26-30, F
@ronisme1: Or quickly turn in front of you at an intersection and then drive so slow....especially when there's no one behind you! Why couldn't they just wait!

@HoraceGreenley: Confession...I used to do that, but I've stopped about a year ago when my friend almost got into an accident.
