Why isn't life a string of good times?

You're having good few days after a while and then one setback screws it all up. Who plans these setbacks? It's like someone's trying to mess with our heads :(

@CoughSyrup: My roommate is leaving me after 3 years. So that ends my string of good days. He told me this just today and we've exams in 10 days? Who the devil plans it all :( Why does he need to mess with me :(

@Kimmler: I'm not religious at all. But how come bad times inevitably follow good times and vice-versa. If it's not all connected and if it's not all planned, why don't we have good times forever, without a twist in the tale? 😐
