How easlily are you offended?

I cannot be offended by anything. I understand that there is an infinite amount of ideas and situations that could call for anything being said or done. Therefore if I am presented with something I turn around and look at it from the other persons view rather than to discard it as offensive. It's better to try to understand others and evolve your own self worth than to put down others and make them feel like something is wrong with them, just because of what they say or do. If it really bothers me makes me feel uncomfortable I remove myself from the situation and just let it ride itself out.

I don't know if offended is the right word. However, I learned that there's no way I want to share the same table with people who nonchalantly use words "raping a girl" when we have a breakfast. I'm still not sure if they meant "having sex" or actual rape. I changed the table. 😠

@CrazyMusicLover: Well there is nothing wrong with removing yourself from the situation. I might of done the same. But it would not have darkened my day in the least.

@Brokenvegetable: I was terrified to hear this from the mouth of a guy who looked intelligent and well-mannered. It was my first encounter with Dutch people so I admit I questioned myself if that was a normal way of talking there (like a slang term or something) or I just came across two weirdos. Or was I overly sensitive? It made me feel confused.
