What has changed? 😔

When I was about 11 or 12, before I sleep every night I would go to my parents and ask them if they were angry with me. Then I would give them a peck on their foreheads out of respect and say good night. I couldn't sleep without doing that. Now after all these years, when I spend the night at my mom's, sadly, most of the time I forget to even say good night. I feel that as a child, I was more beautiful inside 💔

My dad goes to work at 7 pm almost every night before he leaves he always says good night to us, and tells us to be good and my stepmom will say good night at 11. We don't kiss or hug each other good night I can't remember when we did. When I was 11 or 12 I lived with my mom and stepdad most of the time and I don't remember them even saying good night if they did it sounded like go to bed Nikki. If you were still kissing your parents good night at 11 or 12 you continued longer than most of us. We grow up is all.
