What my dad did: *ignores* Oh well, it happens.
What my mum did: "WHAT THE FUCK!"
What I would do: Try to talk to them about it and get them counselling...

@TryingtoLava: fifthing that

@ErinFrisk: You poor thing. Being mentally evaluated might not be a bad idea, but them yelling you certainly isn't supportive. I'll write a bit here, but please PM me if you want to talk. I've dealt with both of these things, and it's not easy.
Does your school have an counselors you can speak to? Do you have anyone you can talk to that you trust?

@caccoon: if i talked to her chances are she would tell them and id end up in the hole again. and no i hate my peers
ErinFrisk · 22-25
and everyone else for that matter
caccoon · 36-40
@ErinFrisk: If you talked to the counselor? I believe you can request that the counselor does not tell your parents. I'm just looking into that now.
And can I ask what you mean by "the hole"? :(

whenever i do something my parents dont approve of they do what everyone does and take my phone and thing etc but if im in that state im usually not allowed outside and i get aggressive and in more trouble. having four boys in the house doesnt help

@ErinFrisk: I'm really sorry to hear that, it must be very hard. :(
So I looked it up and it looks like most of the time the counselors do sort of have an obligation to tell your parents about it.
If you've been to the counselor before, did you have to get your parent's consent before doing so? You could always ask her not to speak to your parents about it first, and see what she says.
Another thing you could do is post openly about what's causing you to cut and have an eating disorder. There are many on this site (and others) that have dealt with it, and could offer advice and support. (And as I said before, if you want to PM me, or talk here, you totally can!)
There are also mental health hotlines you can call, and I can look those up for you if you want. I have used them before, and they can be quite helpful, and they are free.

@ErinFrisk: Okay, that's totally fair! I'm really sorry that you're going through this right now. I hope you will be okay, and my offer still stands if you'd ever like to talk. I won't give any advice, I'll just listen. :) <3
