Do you agree that many dont like Christians and their comments because they dont like to be reminded that somehow they are accountable?

If you dont have a serious and honest answer, then dont answer. I delete nonsense and abuse of this post.

Unfortunately some people turn a blind eye to Christianity and all that it personifies. We live in a very troubled world, where the perpetrators of horrific crimes aren't always held accountable for their acts of hatred towards humanity. Good question, thanks for posting.
@Dreammmer: You're very welcome. Yet I feel that if I answered with anything more vehement and with more fervor if you will, it might have been taken entirely out of context. I've been told since I was a child by a family scholar, that you never discuss religion or politics openly because you can and possibly allow yourself open to public ridicule.

I try to have respect for all denominations and religious cultures. Whether or not I agree or disagree with their doctrines or not. Sometimes it's best in my opionion to hold your counsel. I honestly think your question was a valid one thank you.

@sensualbeauty1: so, I should remain silent because someone might ridicule me??? How is that healthy? I say grow some armor and speak your mind
Every one has their own opinion and I would never ridicule anyone for speaking their mind. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing and we've evolved fortunately ..I just don't say a lot about religion or politics. Only to those people that are friemds or who understand me and don't take it out of context.

I don't like christians because of their long history of intolerance and violence towards non-christains. Is that nonsense or abuse?

@suzie1960: please deal with your negative experiences and don't use them here to discredit all Christians. I delete such hateful comments.
I'm not accountable to anyone but myself

@jadedgirl: Go back and read my answer.
@Dreammmer: which one?

You can believe whatever you like and others can believe what they like, but when you start telling them they are "accountable" like you have a hotline to your god....it sounds silly.
If there is a god why is the only thing we know about it written by man? If a god created the universe it could have come up with something to prove to everyone of it's existence ...other than faith.
Dreammmer · 56-60, M
@ImAFreeSpirit: I did not mention God.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
@Dreammmer: ok then.

I dislike how self righteous a lot of Christians seem to be.
Dreammmer · 56-60, M
@NigelDoes: That is beside my question and does not help at all, unless you try to explain that you are entitled to be rude and impolite because of your dislike.
NeloAngelo · 26-30, M
i just dont like them because of personal encounters with alot that display prejudiced views on almost anyone not of their faith.

I don't dislike Christians. I'm under the belief that everyone should be equal (unfortunately, with the way the world is, we're not). I think everyone has a right to their beliefs. That being said, I don't like the indoctrination of children into any religion, because I think it can lead them to become too sheltered on many topics.

I don't know what you mean about accountability. I am accountable for everything that I do. Do you not feel you're accountable?
caccoon · 36-40
@Dreammmer: But you think that non-Christians can't deal with accountability? Sorry, just trying to understand.
Dreammmer · 56-60, M
@caccoon: I do not assume. I observe that some or many are in their replies and comments. My question was about the why
caccoon · 36-40
@Dreammmer: I think a lot of people do have trouble with accountability, but I don't think it has anything to do with whether they are/aren't Christian, or do/don't like Christians.

There are a variety of reasons.

Yes at times people are reminded that there is a standard which lies outside themselves. We know this standard to be God's law. They are reminded of sin.

However, people deny God's existence, because they have made for themselves an idol. A god which they worship. A god who is not the god of the Bible.

Sometimes believers may across as rude and arrogant. We must share the gospel in truth and love, even if we are mocked.

Well those are my thoughts. Thanks for the post.

@JaggedLittlePill: Please just read my comments and you find that your claim is wrong. I comment also where I disagree and I find it tiring that make up an issue here in spite of facts. Now if you dont like me and have ill feelings against me, feel free to play and comment somewhere else.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Dreammmer: You assume I have not already read your comments. Lol

I have.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Dreammmer: You made a public post and will receive comments you dislike. If you have an issue with people having a different opinion and discussing it with you on the posts you make...either do not post or block everyone you do not want to hear from.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
No. This is not the case at all.

People who are not Christian just do not have time to waste on theories with zero evidence.

Not everyone believes in God. You are free to do so and others are free not to.

Everyone is accountable for their behavior regardless of belief in God.
I am accountable and responsible for my actions only.
Also, I don't care what a person's ideology is as long as we mutually respect each other.
no it's because a lot of Christians are stupid and fake and that's annoying
Dreammmer · 56-60, M
@ZeroG: What a cheap excuse is that and how can you validate that it is even true? Dont all people deserve respect and a chance to be heard and taken serious without being judged beforehand just bc they belong to a certain group? And even if someone annoys you, you can still ignore him, you dont need to be rude do you?
KandiGhostcat · 22-25, F
This would be a bit different sided question honestly. Simply because there's christians that are a bit too religious and there's other christians (like me) who just are..well..let's say more laid back. So really some people may or may not like them. Or it just depends on the type of person they are. But what exactly would I be held accountable for? I don't get what you mean by that.
Dreammmer · 56-60, M
@KandiGhostcat: I mean that some people do not like it when someone says "this is wrong, always and everywhere" like cheating or abusing others... they dont like to accept that someone reminds them that there is a standard for all and in turn they attack or ridicule christians... hoping to silence them or silence their conscience?

No, I think it's because people simply have different beliefs.🌝🌟

We are all accountable, so we have a tool by which to draw comfort, for the evil man will be judged before God.
