What do you do when you havent cut in awhile but the urge comes back strong?

Wear an elastic band and snap it against your skin whenever you have the urge. Sometimes it's the pain that someone gets hooked up on, rather than the release or maybe it's both. Write your frustrations out and resort to the elastic band temporarily until your urges ease up. Just don't hurt yourself

Talk to someone. Try using a felt pen to draw cuts on yourself. Try putting a rubber band around your wrist and ping it hard against your skin.

I don't recommend this, but I hit myself with a hammer or punch the wall.. Or I have a few cigarettes and walk, maybe punch and kick a tree or a bin etc

Draw on yourself, use ice cubes on you, a rubber band snapping on your wrist helps too.

well I don't have that specific urge but I tend to give into my urges 😒 unfortunately

tho I heard that drawing with markers on your skin sometimes helps as a thing to do instead of cutting?

just take a deep breath, promise you won't cut for 5 mins, and keep putting it off till the feeling passes, and it will pass
