@SweetMae: How I became a pastor
When I came to the US in 1987 I took part in an exchange program with the Future Farmers of America, I was a gardener and worked a year in Georgia in a Green house company. My dad owned a greenhouse company in Germany. During that year I became a member of a local baptist church and through the preaching I heard God calling me to become a pastor. I struggled about 6 months with that impression, then asked God for a sign, He give it right away and I said Yes, had trememdous peace and joy .. then I applied to study in Dallas at the Crwiswell Center for biblical studies, a college with some 400 students. I made a BA and a MA in NT there..... that is the short story....
when I came back to my hometown 1993 the local Baptist church was looking for a second pastor.... there I was. That was my start.
