Being drunk increases my thought process?

Like, I can't drive a car perfectly. I did that once and regretted it instantly (on a private roadway). I can't walk for shit. But, my critical thinking skill seem to come to the surface, allowing me to solve problems, that normally take me hours, in minutes. Is it coincidence? Is there an explanation for this?

Unfortunately, there's no joke here. Honestly, I believe it stems from the fact that I tend to over-think things when I'm sober, and the slower processing allows me to think correctly, allowing me to present the right answer the first time, without second guessing myself.

I don't think so.. Alcohol makes you think you are thinking better. Tests are conclusive that is not truth at all.
