@Itsprincess:
Liberalism is a political philosophy or worldview founded on ideas of liberty and equality. Whereas classical liberalism emphasizes the role of liberty, social liberalism stresses the importance of equality. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but generally they support ideas and programmes such as freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, free markets, civil rights, democratic societies, secular governments, gender equality, and international cooperation.
@BeautifulDemon: I know that's the proper definition. But liberalism has changed I think. Some say they want free speech and freedom etc yet they get pissed and don't allow a white girl to wear braids because it's 'cultural appropriation' ffs
@BeautifulDemon: your definition would be so acceptable "if" the liberals could understand that those liberties come at a price. And it's equal to expect them to also pay and play a part of it.
@BeautifulDemon: similarly I find the fanatical leftist disdain for conservatism mean. As they enclude every conservative with out singling out the extreme fanatic. So, do you propose a better label?
