Been trying to find an excuse to text a close friend that I haven't talked to in a while, and I'm getting close to finishing a book I started but I don't want it to end. Is it like a date or are you just meeting as friends for the first time?

Bite the bullet and just send the message. I can understand not wanting to finish a book.

We're meeting as friends, but the point of the trip is to see if we are compatible in person as we have been online, and then maybe we'd pursue something more.
