You do something embarrassing and your mother decides that she wants to tell anyone that comes over about said embarrassing thing?

Fortunately not. I see it around me happening to kids (though not lately). The kid usually tries to stop his/her mother and the mother decides that "the story isn't bad and fun to tell".
