That very much depends on what you expect me to support having answer either way. I believe men and women have equal rights, liberties, and value and should be allowed to pursue any career they want. I do not think that men and women are the same or should be equally distributed through every field of employment and study.

I guess you mean works that needs a big physical strength. In this case, if the woman shows being able to do it. Why not?

@twistermind: Oh, certainly if the woman is capable and wants to then she should go for it. I don't think there should be two physical standards or two standards for a job. I think there should be one standard test for anyone applying. If that means that there is unequal representation within the job then that is fine. Men and women aren't the same.

@MarsSword: They are the same. Only that there are some physical differences but not many.
I can't forget how a guy friend told me about his professor at the politechnical university. The guy didn't want a girl in his department because if the fucking computer broke, a girl wouldn't have the strength to carry it.
My god! A carried bricks to set my flat's floor.

@twistermind: There are some other differences between men and women. The physical differences are significant.
Now that guy is not the brightest, because that is a dumb argument I will agree.
I more meant the physical tests for jobs like, firefighting, or working in a warehouse, or police, or military. It should be one standard.

@MarsSword: Appart from physical strength and little differences in some brain areas brain's working...I don't see any.
Totally agree with you. Same standards.

@twistermind: Little differences in some brain areas, differences in typical communication style and preferences...
These are of course general and as such there are always many exceptions but data is based on generalities and not on the outliers.
Anyway, the important thing is that men and women have equal value and rights.

@MarsSword: You're right. These differences are not relevant at all.
Challenger1 · M
@twistermind: Those differences are not relevant to equal value or rights. However, I would say they are very relevant in life and in careers and in interpersonal relationships.

@MarsSword: Don't forget the jokes. Without these differences, we couldn't enjoy these funny jokes. Lol!
