Men, be honest: Do you prefer women who wear make-up or who always go au naturel?

I'm trying to prove a male friend's wrong; he has said all men prefer women not to wear make-up and don't do or wear anything fake on their faces and bodies (tans, lip plumps, eyelash extensions, etc). Is this true?

I dunno. My girlfriend never wears a lot of makeup, but I'm not preferential about it. I think there's a place for both, although I think there's always a danger with makeup of diving straight into the uncanny valley and becoming a little off-putting.
