Playing the protection card is weak, at best, given that men's responsibility is and has been since the dawn of humanity to protect children *and* women, whereas women only protected children in worse case scenarios when the man wasn't around to die for them. But, glad to see your perspective on pervasive male sacrifice is so respectful.

@Quoththeraven: Either you're trolling now, or typical sense of programmed Western female-superiority. Given that men overwhelmingly do the gritty, dangerous jobs like bulldozing, roofing, pouring concrete, ect, that women are largely unwilling to do; I highly doubt you would enjoy a world without men.
