Nah I find stupid people funny at times. I think it's more like wit and intelligence go hand in hand. Or even just wit and creativity

they're often cousins, at least. it's hard to be long term funny without being pretty bright. it might also be difficult to be funny if someone is too intelligent.

Smart funny people are the funniest imo....as opposed to the fart funny. Carlin, Bill Maher,Wanda Sykes, Samantha Bee...that kind of smart funny. I don't think stupid people are funny....as I think of it...there's not one conservative stand up comic out there

Humours its own type of intelligence... there's plenty of funny people who aren't book smart or intelligent by educational standards... and there's certainly plenty of people who are well educated and intelligent in the traditional sense but have very little sense of humour.... I'm funny, but I'm thick as fuck 😒
