Do you prefer the 70's or 80's as a decade?

Yes I was around in both, had big hair as a teenager and lived in my jeans most of the time lol

I suppose the 70's in as much as i was young.
If i'd known what the next 40 years were going to look like, i guess that was as good as it was ever gonna get !

I can just remember the 80s, they'll do :p

70's for the freedom, I had no responsibilities, I was far too young, 80's for the freedom, because I was in control of my life.
Also I could appreciate all the music and culture of the 70's through my brothers, and develop my own tastes and love of 80's artists ❤️❤️

I was a child in the 70s and a teenager in the 80s, so unfortunately I have such different memories of them that I can't compare. I was happier in the 70s, though.

They are different, 70s was my childhood and 80's was my awkward teenage years

The 80s for me, had lots of freedom, not a lot of responsibility, though not a lot of money.....
Both a bit before my time. I was an 80s baby. I'm sure both the 70s and 80s were better before the 2000s.

70's were my "wonder years". Loved them and the music in the 70's is still incredible

60's were better - no disco :)

I liked the 70's better with the clothing styles and more of a care free times. Yes and the muscle cars in that era and late 60's.

The 80s was a certainly more successful, prosperous time... but music wise - the 70s for sure... (not counting disco...)...

I loved the 80s. Sometimes they get a bad rap but It was so much fun. We looked silly but were having too much fun to care!

The 70s. I remember how we felt when the war ended and Nixon resigned in disgrace, having the feeling that things could only get better and that we were headed in the correct direction. Then Reagan turned up again. 😒
