So yesterday met some cool people to socialize with for real. What do you feel about?

So yesterday I went to Kammanahalli and HRBR Layout of our city Bangalore in India which are cosmopolitan hubs too for expats from several African nations, Middle East and several Asian countries. So yesterday while walking in Kammanahalli, I saw at a local eatery, a trio of African guys having tea. So I initiated a conversation with them and they are actually from Sudan. I was surprised tho that they were black Africans because most online and travel vlogs and all say Sudan is mostly Arabs whereas South Sudan has more black sub-saharan Africans. In my previous Kammanahalli visit, I met some Sudanese guys too but they looked more Middle Eastern or Egyptians so yeah I was surprised here. So yeah they are students here studying engineering and i shared being done with my MBA. Very friendly guys tho. I asked them which language they speak and they said they mostly speak Arabic. We talked a bit, asked our names and they even asked me whether I wanted some tea or not but I said no as I was going to a Cafe anyways. These street interactions with male expats from African nations and MENA countries in Kammanahalli near small eateries or Shawarma joints (yes lots of Arabic eateries there) feels really raw for some reason compared to my seated Cafe interactions.

But the most unexpected one was me meeting a British woman in the Cafe named Paper & Pie in 5th Main Road of HRBR Layout. Yeah I never expected to meet a Western foreigner in this part of Bangalore as I mostly meet expats from MENA countries, some Koreans and Africans. I mainly meet Western expats more around Central areas like Lavelle Road, UB City, Church Street, 1MG Lido mall etc. So we talked. She was really pretty and mostly in her 20s and I am 25. We talked a bit. She was there to meet a friend of hers who lives in that area. So yeah I socialized with her anyways. She also mentioned she has been to Bangalore a several times before. So I shared my Bengali background too that I am living in Bangalore since 2008 but I am Bengali and mentioned being an MBA graduate and that I am exploring around these days and she too explained that she was also exploring the Cafes. Her smile was very pretty tho. She was a bit petite whereas I am like 5'10(177-178 cm) and thats why she looked so cute. I eventually disengaged wishing her a great day but that was surprising to meet her there tho.

I remember last week in Kammanahalli too I unexpectedly met a Chinese woman in a tea Cafe. I remember asking her whether she is from Siliguri region because I didn't know whether she was North East Indian or a foreigner and since sadly some North East Indians are discriminated in mainland Indian cities by some bad people as outsiders or Chinese or Nepalese, I asked her whether she is from Siliguri (the gateway to North East) if in case she was a North East Indian. I remember she was so confused when I was asking whether she is from Siliguri and asked whats that and then she said she is actually from China. Yeah she is a Chinese expat woman working here. It feels like a funny scene tho how I asked her whether she is from Siliguri and she had no idea what's that. I was like wow. Then I explained that Siliguri is my hometown and I thought she was from that region. We had a decent chat tho before wishing each other a great day. I never expected to meet a Chinese person either in Kammanahalli especially even though I socialized with some Koreans there so yeah it surprised me too just like how I was surprised meeting the British woman there yesterday.
