I'm incapable of doing harm to people I love or care about. Can't even say mean things to them if I'm upset with them unless they're absolutely true and even then I wouldn't say them to hurt them. But, they can hurt me and I can't do a thing about it but get away from them.

If they begin to say mean things, especially things that aren't true or call me names or anything out of anger I'm unable to let it go and my mind always remembers that as "what they ACTUALLY think of me, but didn't have the guts to say until they were good and mad." Because a lot of times anger works like being drunk and you say things you normally wouldn't because you're sparing the person's feelings. So no matter what, I'm ALWAYS going to know that's what they think and I can't fix that broken piece... Especially not if they do it often or try to force me to let it go.

I do understand that sometimes people say untrue things JUST with the intention of doing harm out of anger, but that's even worse. I can't fathom intentionally harming someone I have professed to love, so if they can then I can't and don't want to be near or with them.
