so my hub finally allowed the humana home visits today

we never would before because our house is so messy it's embarrassing but yesterday my hub fell and couldn't get up for three hours and had to call the firemen to lift him up off the floor (cause he's 398 lbs) so 😬😳 he couldn't make it to his dr appointment so he had them come here.

anyway .. 😒 guess that's out the window privacy for our mess that is 😩😒

Looking after a loved one is always a full time job. Slips, falls, or emergencies can be scary; especially if you're alone.
Thank goodness for you , and the fire department.

My elderly neighbor slipped and broke her hip outside last winter. She went out to smoke.
It was late so no one heard her calling for help, including the sister next door.

I'd stepped outside & heard a call for help. A relative (nurse) & I, waited with her & the sister until paramedics arrived. A frightening experience, but grateful I was around to find her.
