I have to be done apologizing for being "sensitive" and "a crybaby"...

No amount of shame or disappointment or pain or suppression has ever stopped me from caring. Obviously I'm not going to blubber all over people, I know that's not fair.

But if I lose a tear or a dozen in front of someone, they can own their discomfort with it. I can be strong and soft on my own terms, this is my human experience too and I think we lose some of our wisdom, our talent, our color when we stop caring.
