Omg you all won't believe I had this social moment for real. What do you feel about it?
So yeah in Koramangala area of our city Bangalore in India today, in this Cafe named Chaayos i initiated a conversation with this woman saying that I am just saying Hi to new people. She answered well and you all won't believe we are both from Siliguri in West Bengal state of India. She said she is of Nepalese origin but born in Siliguri and living in Bangalore for a couple of years whereas I am Bengali and living in Bangalore since 2008. That created a connection. We were both surprised to find someone from there. She then asked where my home in Siliguri is and I said Hakimpara area and i asked hers and she said hers is in Haiderpara area. So I literally shared her that I used to walk in Haiderpara with my grandpa when I was a kid and she smiled and said thats nice. Even said her that I haven't visited Siliguri for 2 years and kinda missing it. She also asked what do I do in Bangalore and I said I completed my MBA pretty recently enough and asked her too and she said she recently started a business here. I am 25 and she is also seems in her mid to late 20s.
Soon she even offered me to sit at her table and we sat and talked both casually about life here in Bangalore and eventually professionally too as she started explaining her business. As I am looking for a job, she said about her business and asked me too whether I wanna work now or just start a business and i answered it. We asked each other's names too. It genuinely felt great sitting with her and talking and she is very pretty. Yeah I know it sounds basic but as a late bloomer who used to be shy near girls in my formative years due to bullying and isolation, this just felt too good. As the interaction was a mix of both casual and professional, you all won't believe she gave her number and we both connected on WhatsApp. She also said that if she also finds something for me in her business she will reach out to me. Idk it felt so good to get a number from a woman too. Usually many of my interactions are one time interactions so yeah it felt so good. Still can't believe it honestly. What do you feel about it?
