When the Doctors Said "A Week"... Jesus Said "No"
On July 21st, 1973, I invited Jesus into my heart and He gave me a brand new life. Fifty-three years later, He’s still right here with me. That’s not opinion. That’s a fact in my life. I could not have withstood life, if Jesus was not real. He has kept every promise, and I've loved every yes or no answer to prayer from him, because that's the way I have learned and grown in him to be a better person. Yeses in life are not necessarily always for our good, but Jesus knows exactly what we need, and he always has our best interest at heart, no matter what the answer.
I trust his answers. He always knows what's best for my life, even better than I do. I wait on His timing, not mine, as that is very important. Anytime I get ahead of God and try to "help" him, things never work out. He doesn't need my help; I appreciate His wise decisions/guidance. I know that when I remain humble and patient, that allows Him to give me his best and work wonders.
I’ve seen Him work miracles too. My daughter was on her deathbed....6 ft 1, and down to just 86 lbs. Doctors said her organs were shutting down and she had a week to live. But we prayed for a miracle, and Jesus healed her instantly. Seven years later, she’s healthy, beautiful, and very much alive. Prayer works miracles.
The world is dark. Sin entered in Genesis, not just in Roman times. We all needed a Savior. Jesus came to show us how to live AND made a way for us through the cross. John 3:16. Romans 5. He is not my crutch. He is the remedy for every need I have.
Some people want to argue. But I’m not here to fight. I’m here to be faithful and share hope. Jesus turns no one away. His love is unconditional. He doesn’t leave us abandoned. He is consistent. I can vouch for that.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Jesus promises that anyone who comes to Him will never be turned away or rejected.
The phrase "in no wise" means "never, under any circumstances." It shows that His acceptance is permanent and dependable.
John 6:37, reads: "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out."
