You don’t need more people. You need better quality people, and that might be only one person rather than 100 people. You can love and respect and honor your mother without kicking her out of your life.

I think you should have a conversation with your mother in order to explain how you feel unless you feel like it's totally pointless and she won't listen a single word. People deserve a second chance but i don't even know the current state of your relationship with your mother. Life is short so you gotta take decisions that make you happy and improve your mental health.
