Sometimes we go through the day feeling forgotten, or small, or like we don’t matter much. But the Lord sees you. And to Him, you are so precious.
Isaiah 43:4 says, "Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee."
Wow...Did you catch that? Precious. Honourable. Loved. That is how God feels about you right now. That is how He sees you.
He doesn’t love you because of what you do, or how much you have, or if you got everything right today.
He loves you because you are His. He formed you. He knows your name. He knows exactly how many hairs you have on your head and when one falls.
Jesus showed us just how precious we are. He was willing to leave heaven and come to this earth. He suffered, and He died, and He rose again. He did all of that because He wanted you with Him forever.
No one can measure that kind of love. We really cannot fathom it with our minds. But we can believe it with our hearts.
So today, if you feel discouraged, remember this:
You are not an accident. You are not overlooked. You are precious to the Lord. He delights in you. He is close to you. And nothing can take you out of His hand.
I thank Him today for loving us so much.
"Lord, thank You for calling us precious. Help me to rest in Your love today, and help us to show others that they are precious to You too. Amen."
