I think I realized one layer of love

Just wanting to be in someones presence.

Sitting next to each other, even if doing other things (like one gaming and one TikTok scrolling).

A comfortable atmosphere. Calming.

Nesting.

My mom used to ask if she could just come over and sit with me. Sometimes she would just scroll through her money saving and coupon apps and I would have my headphones on watching my shows on my laptop. Sometimes I would put her fave show on, "Cops", on and we would chat and watch the show.

If anyone ever says they love me ever again, this is the kind of thing I hope they feel.
