Another 2 ghosting again?
Yes I know I posted a lot about being ghosted when it comes to job search but at this point I am just fed up of it. I am not sure wtf is wrong. I am 25 and already been several months since my MBA is fully done and over a year of job search. Yes some were my fault too like last year mostly using my student resume which resulted in almost no interviews and I had to quit the internship I got through my campus as it was completely outside my MBA specialization and I wasn't gaining anything but by then the placement cycle in our campus was done by then so no opportunities from my University and I had to search off-campus in our city Bangalore in India. But this year at starting I fully updated my resume and i am not having full silence as I am getting interviews, screening calls, even asked my friend to help and network but mainly facing ghosting. So on Monday I had an interview. I mean not a full interview.
On Monday I went to HSR Layout of our city which is the startup hub of our city and it was a Business Associate role for entry level which was fine as my MBA major was Business Analytics and minor was Marketing. So what happened is they took 2 rounds. First round was a Google forms test round which wasn't even that hard as it was mostly Marketing related and then I also had a 2nd round which wasn't even a real interview as it was more like pre-interview questions like a screening questions and we were in group of 4 in that cabin as they asked what are my long term goals and short term goals and another question like how did i utilize Analytics in Marketing. I answered them and he even said "Good. So I have kept your resume on hold. If you get selected, I will call you mostly by today evening and you can come for the interview tomorrow". Yeah the interview was supposed to be on the next day aka Tuesday so they were gonna inform by Monday evening itself but no call or email at all and it's already Thursday today even though the interview was supposed to be on Tuesday. Complete silence and didn't even given the chance to attend the interview and ghosted already and idk why.
It was a walk-in interview drive and there were 15 other candidates there too but idk. This wasn't it. On Monday itself I got another email about an interview in another company in Indiranagar area of our city next day which will be from 9:30 AM. But in the email they explicitly mentioned that only attend the interview after the confirmation by HR and a telephonic round. They gave the HR's phone number and said to call if they haven't confirmed fully. I called the HR and she said me to share her my resume and she will inform. I shared my resume to her but nothing after that. No telephonic round or no confirmation. Next day arrived and still nothing. The email explicitly said not to come to the office unless HR fully confirms and says me to go. I tried reaching out to the HR by sending a follow up but full silence and no response. I am just freaking fed up by this point now. I am very angry at the moment because no matter what, I am getting ghosted a lot. I always worry about my future when waking up at morning and feel regret and frustrated about still not having a job. What sucks is my friend shared my resume to his network and my dad's ex-colleague with lots of connections tried to helping too but no proper lead or a full referral yet. It's like even their network didn't find something for me either.
