Sometimes my sister

Sometimes my sister and I will text each other and just say,"I don't want to be a grown up today". Thats how we start our vent.

You speak for many!
Mindful · 56-60, F
@Quimliqer and yet I hear crickets....🦗
I love that there must be days you are ok with being a grown up.
Mindful · 56-60, F
@nonsensiclesnail yes! There have been plenty of those days, thank you. Somehow, I don't credit myself enough for all that has been good. My sister is an even better grown up.
@Mindful I have a tendency to only see the bad in myself, where I fail, where I fall short. That is the hardest part of being a person Im finding, realizing that I am good enough and that when things go wrong isn’t always because of me.

I like my adult life more than my childhood
Mindful · 56-60, F
@Birdbox1986 well since most of life is in that phase, that works out well. (I had a very fun and innocent safe childhood)
