I will try again tomorrow. I will try to be more open and comfortable when dealing with new situations and people

I feel so intimidated by new situations, it makes me feel disoriented, and also new tasks at work that require experience make me feel uncomfortable and as if I'm a failure, and I don't understand how much is it okay to step in. Someone said this to me today, that I don't come across as confident. And my heart really sank. I wish I was better. I feel I haven't gotten anywhere, no progress with my anxiety in that regard.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Perhaps you are an HSP? So maybe, do not be so hasty to judge and condemn yourself. What you view as lack or failure, are prudent cautions.

An HSP is wired differently than others. We make up roughly 20% of the population; that is, it IS a science.

And if you happen to be an empath, well, let me not start on that. No seriously, bc my sugar is dropping (I am hypoglycemic! ) :)

Offer yourself grace, it is hardest to offer to ourselves, but it is a learned skill, it takes time :) 👍

Every moment is a new opportunity . That you're even trying... is an accomplishment. I think it's weird that someone would say that to you. Just do what you know how to do, and pretend you're explaining it to a child if that helps. People who ask questions usually really want to hear the answers. Know that people want to know whatever you know. Your knowledge is important.

Well done on facing those unfamiliar situations, despite the anxiety. The more you try, the less nerve wracking it’ll be. You’ll do great :)
