I went to the grocery store at what I call, single dood food shopping hour...

I go then to avoid the crowds and it's always mostly guys buying frozen pizza and hot dogs.

A man locked eyes and smiled that smile at me. It's been so long since anyone made eye contact with me, especially those kinda eyes 👀

I smiled but he was locked in and I panicked...

In about three seconds I realized what my face had contorted into.


I closed my eyes and kept walking until I ran into one of those promotional cardboard shelves in the aisle. Wow.

Guess I'm a bit out of practice 😂
