Do you feel 1MG lido mall will ever give that same feelings as my campus did?
So you all know I visit 1MG Lido mall in Trinity Circle of our city Bangalore in India twice or thrice every week. I really like the calm vibe of the mall compared to most other malls in the city which are overcrowded. 1MG mall is surrounded by 5 star hotels and it's more of an utility mall and has an upscale grocery area where most items are imported. The mall is perfect for me to have 1 on 1 interactions with foreign women who are expats, tourists and flight attendants on layover. I have some interesting interactions with the flight attendants who are usually from Germany, France and the UK and hear their travel stories. But I am still wondering whether it can still match the emotions I feel about my MBA campus in Electronic City area.
I am comparing 1MG mall with it as UB City mall is too luxurious to compare with campus vibe. But again in campus I was mostly surrounded by 20 something peers and it was fast paced and chaotic like how student hubs are and also lots of chatting and laughs whereas 1Mg mall crowd is often older like 35-55 crowd and I am 25. Many foreigners i meet are older too even though sometimes I also meet 20s women as well. Also it's way too calm and I am fully solo there usually. Also unlike campus, I mainly meet strangers in the mall and unlike in some Cafes or Church Street, I often have the lowest chances of repeat encounters as most people i meet are flight crews on layover so they leave by next day. Also I don't meet many peer aged Indian women there as well(the mall is too underrated tbh in my opinion). In campus, I had several crushes like Anshika, Akansha, Dimple and a female friend like Soniya and also fun memories with male friends like Ali whereas in 1MG mall, most interactions are fleeting but I still love the mall as it's a place I go to relax and feel the calm vibe and sometimes have authentic 1 on 1 interactions. I also love exploring the expensive grocery shop of the mall and feel annoyed how expensive the imported cheetos, Takis and doritos are as well other imported items haha.
