At this point do you feel I am being ghosted and i was silently rejected after the interview?

So in my previous post I shared how i am 25 and still job searching for a bit over a year as a whole and it's been 8-9 months since I have fully completed my MBA. So in this post I will directly talk about the interview like which I had last week Thursday(30th July) and about my follow-up to them. So yeah the recruiter called me on the phone for screening last week and scheduled an interview for that day and I had the 2 rounds of interview- technical and HR. It was a Market Research Analyst role so I answered everything about my MBA, my previous internship, my skills and even research paper I made during MBA. Even the HR was chill and friendly unlike some previous HR rounds where HRs were really serious. I felt satisfied after this interview for real unlike the previous one. They also said if I am selected I will work on their upcoming product which they will launch in December. I even heard them discussing among themselves that they needed an intern or employee fast for the product.

So yeah I expected maybe finally I will get this one even if the pay wasn't that much. Even the HR said that they will update me by next week or maybe even the next day itself(31st July). But today it's Thursday(6th August) morning and still nothing and no update or calls or email at all. Yesterday I decided to send a professional follow-up to the recruiter about the update. I didn't even have their email address so I messaged the recruiter on WhatsApp who called me and later sent me the office location itself on WhatsApp, asking for an update about the status but yeah she didn't reply at all. I sent her yesterday at 11:24 am and still nothing. She is often online or really active on WhatsApp but just nothing. No response to the message, no call and nothing whether I am rejected or not. Just silence. What do you feel?

Whatever you do, don't reach out again. It will not look good. No matter how deserving you are there are usually hundreds of applicants. You are lucky to have been interviewed. Please consider any type of work at this point just to help your mind and body active. It will help you wait until the right opportunity shows up.

I know it's not personal... it's just that the supply is far greater than the demand for jobs. I have three highly qualified friends that are looking for jobs
