If I go to a cafe and hire a caregiver to be with me, does that mean I'm alone or not?

I'm so confused. Because if I do he's a person too and we might even become friends and do something together (I wouldn't be able to treat him in anyway less than a friend and I might as well say thank you 🐰) Except I'll be paying him to be with me so I can go spend time with myself and watch a movie or something on my phone because I can't be fully alone if I really want to pull this off.

AT THE SAME TIME a few people offered to do it for free and this specific guy wants to be friends with me. We agreed on hanging out at a cafe but for the 3rd day things keep coming up.

Another one was an old man but he's toooooo talkative after one phone call I couldn't afford to try and meet him I will not just settle for whatever life tosses towards me I stopped doing that shit.

NOW the thing with hiring a caregiver from a company is that they're going to be available anytime if one is busy they're going to send another and that makes them reliable. However I can only afford to hire 1 a week I don't think I'll need more than that.

A totally different option which I want to set a day each week to take my dad to the cafe because it's one of my responsibilities to do so. He never talks anymore so it's also same as going alone I get to phone one of my sisters or listen to music. Other days I get to go with mom for walks.

That's basically my summer. As for my best friend I only see him on weekends now because he started a new job.

There's more I think but it's not certain yet. And I do deserve more that's at least how I see it.

Its not how often you go out for coffee or an ice cream but the quality of the person your spending time with when those momemts happen enjoy them.

I think you two can definitely be friends, as long as he’s helping you what you need

I'd hire them. You can still meet with other people too, and meet with the caregiver's stuff too. It might not be defined as a friendship necessarily but it is a human relationship for certain. You can even invite one of your friends along with the caregiver and experiment ..:) even once every other week would be interesting to try.
