One of the board members always sends me last minute applications or additions to the meeting

AFTER I have sent out my two emails. I do not like to send another email and re-compile everything because you didn't mark a date on your calendar.

It's also more confusing for the rest of the board members.

I accept it from anyone else but board members. They should know better. I am their employee and they are wasting my time and making me less efficient, which is stupid.

But she was "sick this weekend".

WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE MONTH + A WEEK??

Maybe I should set a deadline 😐

If it’s something she does on a regular basis, setting clear boundaries might be useful- so long as you’re able to let any late applications or additions wait to be addressed until the next deadline should she not respect the boundaries you’ve put into place.

@OlderSometimesWiser I did send her a polite but direct text explaining that this is not ideal because she has done it about 4 to 5 times
@caccoon Stick to your guns lady. Seems to me you’re doing a great job. I’ve seen a real improvement in your self confidence and it’s a beautiful thing. 🙂
