So I had these 2 very interesting interactions today. What do you feel?
So today on Sunday I went for an outing in Central areas of our city Bangalore in India and socialized but these 2 were the most interesting of them all. So in Araku Cafe of Indiranagar, I was having an iced Americano and near me was a woman somewhere in her 20s and I am 25 and I initiated a conversation with her. So she is a working professional and she is from the South Indian state Kerala. So I said I have been there twice and it was beautiful. She then asked me where in Kerala and I said Thiruvananthapuram and Wayanad and she said thats great. When I said I am Bengali, she said she has been to West Bengal state too last year and when I asked her where in West Bengal, she literally answered Siliguri which is my freaking hometown. I was amazed and said her "Ohh wow Siliguri is literally my hometown". She was also surprised and said "Ohh really?" and shared that she was going to Gangtok in Sikkim state of India but she had to go via Siliguri so she stayed there as well. I also said about being recently done with MBA and job searching and she even asked how my job search is going on. Damn I wish I could have asked her Instagram. It was so great. It was cool to see someone from such a different part of India to be visiting my hometown too because a lot of non-Bengali people usually only talk about Kolkata when it comes to Bengal.
Then in 1MG Lido mall of Trinity area, I initiated conversation with this American woman. She was really very pretty and attractive and was around my age too. So we talked, asked about each other, mentioned about being done with MBA to which she congratulated me, she said she is from Dallas, Texas in the US and she is a tourist here and today was her last day in Bangalore so just shopping around in the mall. But when I asked her name, she said her name is Tony. Yeah I didn't know women can have that name too. I jokingly said "Ohh so you are Tony Montana?" and laughed. She too laughed and said "Yeah. I often get that actually". Damn she was so bubbly and a bit soft spoken at the same time. She had some cool tattoos on her hands too. I honestly felt some subtle attraction too but obviously I stayed composed. Its a shame tho that she is a tourist. If she was an expat, I would have definitely tried asking her Instagram or maybe at least Linkedin once to stay in touch but yeah tomorrow she is leaving so yeah I ended the interaction saying her "Happy shopping" and she said the same to me and just saw it as a pleasant one time interaction.
