Damn I am really hoping for this movie to be good for real. What do you feel?
So the Bollywood movie Dhamaal 4 is finally out today. This Dhamaal series is especially special to me because the first movie "Dhamaal" was released in 2007 so that movie has been a part of my childhood and also watch it into my adulthood too. It had actors Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaafery, Ritesh Deshmukh and Ashish Chaudhary and it was one of the best comedy Bollywood movie. Everything was just perfect. I watched it so many times but always laughed hard especially seeing Jaaved Jaafery being so stupid and naive, while Arshad Warsi talking a lot and every characters being funny and the acting was so natural especially that comedic airplane scene and the bus hijacking scene while the 4 of them were going from Mumbai to Goa to find a bag full of 10 crores rupees(see it in your currency on Google if you are curious) and also when Ashish's father played by actor Asrani was slapping him a lot which made it look so fun(sadly Asrani is no more RIP)
The 2nd sequel "Double Dhamaal" released in 2011 was a huge downgrade. The actors were the same but I watched it and no longer felt the same as the first one and not that funny and i didn't even feel like completing it. Their 3rd sequel "Total Dhamaal" released in 2019 was a lot better than Double Dhamaal and I watched it in theater and i laughed a lot. Jaaved Jaafery was again so funny, so was Arshad Warsi, and also actor Ajay Devgan was in it too and even comedy legend Johnny Lever. But it only felt funny the first time. When I watched it again on tv the 2nd time, the acting felt forced and the comedy wasn't natural like the first Dhamaal so yeah I didn't get the same laughter which I would still get watching the first Dhamaal.
Their 4th Sequel is out today and I will be watching it on Sunday in Cinepolis in Shantiniketan mall of our city Bangalore in India and really hoping that it will be funny. I hope Jaaved Jaafery will still be that funny naive and dumb dude in the movie, Arshad Warsi giving funny lines, Ajay Devgan is there too, sadly no Johnny Lever here. I am hoping it will fun and I will laugh a lot seeing it. At 25, I still feel nostalgic about first Dhamaal so hoping this movie will be fun too. First Dhamaal also had some really good memorable songs tho so I hope this one has it too. Really excited about Sunday.
