Why is time flying so fast damn?

It's July 2026 already. July is special to me because on 13th July 2023 was my first day of MBA. It's crazy to believe it's been 3 years already since that day. I was 22, still shy and awkwardly entered the class. Every classmates immediately found me mysterious and got curious about me as I entered the class in a hesitant way. Then later on during tea break, this girl Anshika who was my age too was the first girl to say me Hi. Yeah it was different as I was shy near girls, had a very isolating past and also male dominated engineering environment. Later on during lunch time, when going upstairs, I saw this guy Ali(who became my friend too), Anshika and this other girl going upstairs and I acted hesitant and Ali tried to include me in the group and said me to talk.

Then Anshika asked me where I am from and I said West Bengal but living in Bangalore in India since 2008 so this another girl who was Bengali too talked to me in Bengali and Anshika asked me whether I know Hindi as she is North Indian from the city Lucknow. She then asked me whether I had lunch or not and that was enough to melt my heart given my history of shyness and isolation. That was enough later reflect and remember at night before sleeping and I was imagining about her. Few days later I eventually got crush on Anshika. Still can't believe it's been 3 years already. I still can't forget that day. I am 25 now, stressed about job search and recently done with MBA but I am really missing that day. There was so much possibilities that day but now I am without a daily peer environment. It's been quite a long time since I was last surrounded by daily peers in their 20s or similar age range.
