I am wondering if I should start slowly working again...

A while ago I started getting quite dizzy all the time, and discovered that my iron and B9 is super low. I'm taking supplements now + two types of relaxing pills because the doctor believes that stress is contributing to the dizziness, as well as a pill that's supposed to lessen the dizziness in general. I feel a bit better now but idk if it's because of the supplements, or if it's just the pill that removes the symptoms itself.

I've been freelancing drawing commissions quite randomly for people for a while, and I want to do it professionally now (posting YCHs and adopts on sites where people come specifically to follow artists and buy), and it was when I started this that the low iton caught up to me after a very stressful month (MIL from hell was visitinge lol).

I wonder if I'm ready to try again, because generally replenishing my iron and B vitamins will take a very long time, we're talking 3 months until it even starts entering the bone marrow, according to my doctor. Idk. I'm supposed to soon stop taking the pills which remove the symptoms, so I worry that the dizziness will come back full strength and make it impossible to keep up with commissions at that point.

The thing is we REALLY need money, a very large part of the reason why I'm so stressed, and my husband is having a really hard time finding a full time job that pays at least $800 per month. Idk if I should wait or not. /=

My doctor says I'll be completely fine eventually, but I do have a condition that might make it difficult for me to absorb some vitamins and minerals from food, so it's all still a bit unclear.

You could do just a little and not stress yourself too badly. Or full time work and then when you get dizzy again you stop.

@froggtongue It's very much about engagement, so once you get it you're expected to keep it up or else people will unfollow. It's different from just doing a commission here and there, you're expected to be there and working all the time, you can't just take breaks. That's why I'm unsure if it's too risky to start now. I'm essentially a brand at that point, and will be investing in advertisement.
@Nightwings that's one way to do things. Or just be who you are. Maybe you won't get a lot of followers. But the ones who are understanding and truly love your work will be the ones who stay.

So what if you go slowly now. Then later you get healthier and are able to do the full time thing. Would doing it that way hurt your ability to acquire new followers in the future?

@froggtongue I mean what I could do right now is just make some portfolio pieces and wait with selling from the specific account. I'll take some cheaper odd commissions in the meantime if anyone wants. Here's something I'm working on just for myself, it won't be part of my portfolio since it's not consistent with the brand, it's just for myself:
