Our past is part of us. It will always be in us. However, it is nice to ask oneself often, what do I want to do "now"? And just do that. Future memories depend on today's choices. Life is often unpredictable, plenty of potential and new opportunities, allowing room for building our most wanted future. The way you make time for new things will matter. We can't know all in advance, but we can often choose a starting direction :)

I think we’re always creating new memories. They may not have the depth of the old ones, at least not yet.

Our think our hearts and brains can only take a certain amount. Sometimes the past memories are too much and we need to process and heal before we can move forward and create new ones.

Unfortunately that definitely happens. ☹
