It's my 3rd papversary
On June 14, 2023, exactly three years ago, was the first day I officially started using a BiPAP device to help me breathe while sleeping because of sleep apnea.
I was not ready for that phase at all. I was literally terrified, constantly checking my heart rate and blood oxygen level. On top of that, during the first few days, I had nightmares that I was suffocating and couldn’t breathe. This is how I looked like back then, trying to stay calm and reassure myself.
I can’t say I don’t miss the days before the BiPAP, because I really do. But today, it has become just a daily routine, and it's not scary at all anymore. I am grateful that this technology exists and is helping me, along with thousands, or maybe even millions, of others.
As for the dog 🐶, they don't have a fixed name or gender. It changes from time to time, and currently there's no name. Her last name was “Luna.”
