Exist in the gray

Life is not black and white.

There will always be good and bad. Light and dark.

It will always be gray.

There is a quote that says, "Sometimes we don't want to heal because the pain is the last link to what we have lost".

Every time I felt happy, I remembered the sadness....and I think that's why. I didn't want to lose you.

As if I couldn't just remember the good times.

As if...if I let go of the bad....that would remove all of it.

Maybe getting older does have its benefits because it makes more sense now.

What was there will always be just where it was.

But every day is a new turn of the page.
