I love the atmosphere. This place is what you make it. Its fun if you want it to be. Its boring if you want it to be. What is SW to you. Why are you still here. Best answer wins. ☺
Well there are places we revisit, the park, the cafe, the beach, Youtube, SW, call with a friend, a person.
I am here because through the years I have gotten to know enough people, and people have gotten to know me, and there is no need to be explaining myself, I can simply arrive and feel welcomed, in some way.
There is this sort of familiarity that is bringing me back, the people I have grown to know and for whom I care about.
And I love how people here are open and responsive to strange subjects that on other forums or platforms are seen as weird. I like the relaxed pace, it's not that crowded, and it's sweet, spicy and salty...
I was absent for a bit and came back not because I needed to, but because I liked the eclectic mix of SWers.
So many different life experiences, interests, thoughts, and yet, for the most part, it's like a real life family.
We've actually got it all.... black sheep, oddballs, the nerds, the hell raisers, the sages, those that make you think, those that touch you deeply, the annoying but loveable siblings and on and on.
Just like you, there are people and friends who are still here.
I took a very long break, but I knew I wasn’t leaving permanently. I just needed to focus on something else for more than a year. I still logged in to check messages from friends or to update friends on what was going on with me.
SW is like a place where you once belonged to… and know you could always visit and find a corner for yourself.
@XxBlahxX I said it before, and I will say it again. You will meet some of the best people here. And meaningful friendships have been made here time and time again. I dont think most people have any idea how many have so far. But its definitely something special about that in itself. ☺
No, the better question is, why are you here, when you don't want to know others.
There's so much written on this site about others, that you have barely touched. Yet you still refuse to read it and reply about others.
That is more sad, than what other have already said about themselves.

It makes no sense, for those who refuse to read what is there, to even ask why others are here. You refuse to read it and therefore refuse understand them.

I have a very good friend on here that I think is wonderful and whom I speak to daily (Hey pus xx). If it wasn't for her, I would not be on here anywhere near as regularly
I like the community for the most part and the exchange of the minds and opinions. I think in terms of social media that this is a better site than Facebook or Instagram.
i like interacting and befriending new people.... i don't care for the freaks or trolls but i can always block them. but in a weird way they keep me entertained....i really only have 3 people or so blocked but i think they are the same person anyway
