Wowww I can't believe I had that interaction. What do you feel?
So in my previous post I posted about the interesting language barrier with the African woman speaking in Swahili but in this post its a different one. So in Church Street of our city Bangalore in India which is a pedestrian-only Street made of cobblestone and is a youthful and cosmopolitan area. So I initiated conversation with this woman who is Indian too. I just started saying "Hello. I am just saying Hi to new people and trying to socialize with new people as I am just done with my MBA". So yeah she responded well after hearing it and literally introduced herself first saying her name and then asked mine. I said mine. Then I asked her whether she is studying or working and she said she is working. I asked her what did she study and she said she studied Law and completed it recently. So yeah she is definitely about 23-25 age range as law in India is a 5 year course and I am 25 now. When I mentioned I just completed my MBA, she asked me whether I did my MBA in IIM(top MBA institutes in India) but I said no and said my University name and she still recognized it.
She then asked me whether I am working now and I said no I am still searching and I just completed my MBA. She also asked then just put of curiosity whether I say Hi to new people in my free time but I answered that i had an interview at morning so yeah later I was just exploring around and sometimes socializing and she said that's good and asked how did my interview go and I said it went decent and I am hoping I get this one and she said "Don't worry you will get one soon". I also asked her whether she is working in IT and she said yes so out of curiosity I asked her she did law but working in IT? She then said yes "even in IT we need some Law thing" so I said wow that's interesting. Then I asked her which state of India is she from and she said she is from Jharkhand state and I also said her I am from West Bengal so basically your neighbor haha and she laughed and said yes.
She even asked me whether I am new in Bangalore and I said not really and I am living here for many years and that surprised her too for some reason. She was definitely one of the bubbliest woman i talked to especially as usually in a day, a lot of my interactions with Indian women are one-way often but she talked and engaged so much on Church Street. On top of that she was so cute and pretty but also petite. I enjoyed her energy and bubbly nature so much. Whats funny was she was misspelling my name multiple times. Also I said her sorry a few times but she kept saying in a bubbly way that it's totally fine and told me not to say sorry. Yeah of course it ended without a number or Instagram exchange but it was a great way to end my outing. Damn if only I could bump into her again in Church Street some day by chance but yeah it was a great day.
